A Close Encounter with Coral in Downtown Seattle

I pop into Seattle Aquarium whenever it doesn't look too busy, which means I get there when my walks are early in the morning, right about opening time. Today I had a close encounter with coral.

Coral is actually a living organism made up of millions of tiny polyps. They get nutrients mostly through photosynthesis, however, they can actually sting some plankton and very small fish to get a meal.
