Seattle Urban Berry Pie

We love to take our Jack Russell Cooper to a field by Elliot Bay Marina in Seattle. He runs free as we enjoy laps around the grassy field, watching the cruise ship activity and dreaming of the day our own boat  is moored at the marina. 

 

This weekend, my husband discovered wild blackberries ripe for the picking as we walked the northern corner of our secret place. To my delight, he picked gallons of berries, brought them home and quickly set about to make us an Urban berry Pie.

 

No recipe included, just some photos of this perfectly delectable sweet~tart pie with light flaky crust, ending our weekend in a most sumptuous way!
